BREAKING NEWS: Two Officers Hospitalized After Shooting in Baldwin Park
Baldwin Park, CA – May 31, 2025 — A massive police response is underway after two officers were shot during an incident in a Baldwin Park neighborhood on Saturday evening.
According to the Baldwin Park Police Department, officers responded to a call for service at approximately 7:21 p.m. in the 4200 block of Filhurst Avenue. What began as a routine call quickly turned violent when a suspect opened fire, striking two officers.
Emergency services rushed to the scene. One officer was airlifted by L.A. County Sheriff’s Air Rescue 5 helicopter, while the other was transported by ground to USC Medical Center.
