According to witnesses, the latest shooting occurred near the football fields on Sunday evening. Authorities have not yet released details on the number of victims or the extent of injuries in this latest incident.
This comes just a day after four teenagers were shot at the same park in what police described as a targeted act of violence. That shooting sent all four teens to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and triggered increased patrols and security at Briscoe Park.
The park, known for hosting local sports and family gatherings, has now become the focus of a growing concern over public safety in the area. Police have not confirmed whether the two shootings are connected.
Snellville Police are urging anyone with information, photos, or video from either incident to contact them immediately. Community members are also being asked to remain vigilant and avoid the park until further notice.
