One Dead, Another Injured in Early Morning Shooting Outside Flint Nightclub
FLINT, Mich. — A deadly shooting outside a Flint-area nightclub early Sunday morning has left one man dead and another injured, according to local authorities.
The incident occurred shortly after 2:15 a.m. on June 1 outside Vibez Night Club, located on North Saginaw Street. Responding officers arrived to find a 36-year-old Flint man lying outside the club with gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
A second victim, identified as a 44-year-old man, also from Flint, was transported to a local hospital. Officials say he is in good condition and receiving treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.
The circumstances leading up to the shooting are still under investigation, and no suspects are currently in custody. Authorities have not released the identities of the victims pending notification of next of kin.
Flint police are urging anyone who was at or near Vibez Night Club during the time of the shooting to come forward with any information. Tips can be submitted anonymously to Crime Stoppers or directly to the Flint Police Department.
