    Her sibling, Reed, who was also involved in the accident, continues to recover.   • Flood Victims Identified in Ruidoso Tragedy: Sebastian and Charlotte Trotter

    With heavy hearts, we share the devastating news that two young siblings, 7-year-old Sebastian Trotter and 4-year-old Charlotte Trotter, tragically lost their lives during the catastrophic flash flooding that struck Ruidoso, New Mexico, on Tuesday, July 8, 2025.

    The Trotter family, stationed at Ft. Bliss in El Paso, Texas, was on a camping trip when the sudden flooding overwhelmed the area. As the waters surged, Sebastian and Charlotte were swept away, despite their parents’ desperate efforts to save them. Both parents sustained injuries in the attempt and are currently hospitalized in El Paso, recovering physically as they face the unimaginable weight of their loss.

    The heartbreak deepens as the family also lost two of their beloved dogs in the flooding.

    This tragedy has shaken not only the Ruidoso and El Paso communities but all who have heard of the Trotter family’s profound loss. In this time of grief, we hold the family in our thoughts and prayers, and we honor the memories of Sebastian and Charlotte—two bright, beautiful lives taken far too soon.

  • Middleton Tragedy: James Pabst Identified in Double Homicide and Suicide”

    A heartbreaking tragedy has shaken the community of Middleton, Wisconsin, after a double homicide and subsequent suicide claimed three lives on Tuesday, July 8, 2025.

    According to the Dane County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a welfare check at the home of David and Teri Pabst on Stonebrook Circle after a family member grew concerned when the couple failed to arrive at their planned destinations that morning. Upon arriving at the scene, deputies learned that the couple’s 25-year-old son, James Pabst, had left the home just before authorities arrived and was believed to be armed and driving a white Honda Accord.

    A statewide search was launched. Later that day, Wisconsin State Patrol located James traveling westbound on U.S. Highway 14 in Vernon County. A traffic stop was attempted near Patterson Road, and although James initially pulled over, he refused to exit the vehicle or speak to officers.

    After an hour-long standoff, law enforcement officers approached the vehicle and found James Pabst deceased from an apparent suicide.

    Inside the Middleton home, investigators confirmed that David and Teri Pabst had been fatally harmed, victims of what is now confirmed to be a double homicide. Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances leading to this devastating event.

    This tragedy has left a family shattered and a community in mourning. The Dane County Sheriff’s Office has extended condolences to all impacted and encourages anyone struggling with grief to seek support during this incredibly difficult time.

     

  • “Charles Moore, 26, Dies in Two-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 20”

     


    WAVERLY, Louisiana – With heavy hearts, we mourn the untimely passing of Charles Moore, 26, of Meridian, Mississippi, who tragically lost his life in the early hours of Thursday morning, July 10, 2025, following a devastating crash on Interstate 20, just west of Louisiana Highway 557.

    According to Louisiana State Police Troop F, the fatal incident occurred shortly before 5:00 a.m. Charles was operating a 2024 International commercial motor vehicle, traveling westbound, when his vehicle veered to the right and collided with the rear of a parked 2017 Freightliner on the shoulder. The impact forced his truck off the roadway, where it struck a tree.

    Despite being properly restrained, Charles Moore did not survive the collision and was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have stated that impairment is not currently suspected, though routine toxicology samples were taken as part of the ongoing investigation.

    Charles was a hardworking young man whose dedication to his profession and family was evident in everything he did. His loss is deeply felt by those who knew and loved him—family members, friends, and colleagues alike. His absence leaves a void that words cannot fill.
