Tragic Crash Claims Life of 20-Year-Old Lizbeth Sandoval in Madison County
MADISON COUNTY, TX – A tragic accident on Highway 21 East in Madison County claimed the life of Lizbeth Sandoval, 20, of Bryan, Texas, on May 31, 2025, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
The fatal wreck occurred when Lizbeth’s Ford Escape became disabled and was partially in the roadway. As she remained in or near the vehicle, a Chevy Silverado traveling behind the disabled SUV failed to notice it in time and crashed into the rear of Lizbeth’s vehicle.
First responders were dispatched to the scene quickly, but despite their efforts, Lizbeth succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced deceased on the scene.
Authorities believe driver distraction on the part of the Silverado’s driver played a significant role in the crash. No additional injuries were reported at the time.
Lizbeth Sandoval was a young woman full of potential, and her sudden passing has left a deep void in the hearts of her loved ones and her local community. Her family and friends are now left mourning the heartbreaking loss of a daughter, friend, and vibrant soul taken far too soon.
