UPDATE | Manhunt Underway for Father Accused of Murdering His Three Daughters in Wenatchee, Washington

WENATCHEE, WA — A massive multi-agency manhunt is underway for 32-year-old Travis Caleb Decker, a former military servicemember wanted for the kidnapping and brutal murder of his three young daughters in a heartbreaking case that has devastated the Wenatchee community and gripped the nation.

The U.S. Marshals Pacific Northwest Violent Offender Task Force is leading the search, working alongside the Chelan County Sheriff’s Office, the FBI, Homeland Security Investigations, U.S. Border Patrol, Washington State Patrol, Department of Corrections, and Wenatchee Police Department to locate and arrest Decker. Authorities have issued three counts of First-Degree Murder and First-Degree Kidnapping against him.

The U.S. Marshals Service is offering a reward of up to $20,000 for information that leads directly to Decker’s arrest. While he is not currently known to be armed, officials warn that he should be considered extremely dangerous due to his extensive tactical and survival training from prior military service.

The Tragic Timeline

The case began on May 30, when the mother of the children—ages 9, 8, and 5—reported them missing after Decker failed to return them following a court-ordered visitation. An Endangered Missing Person Alert was issued, triggering a countywide search.

On June 2, authorities located Decker’s vehicle near Leavenworth, approximately 20 miles from Wenatchee. A subsequent search of the surrounding area led to a devastating discovery: the bodies of all three girls were found nearby.

Decker himself was not located at the scene and remains at large.

Ongoing Investigation and Public Appeal

Investigators have described the case as one of the most deeply disturbing acts of domestic violence in recent memory. Chelan County Sheriff’s officials say the charges were quickly elevated as new evidence came to light, and the search has since intensified with support from state and federal agencies.

Anyone with knowledge of Decker’s whereabouts is urged to call the U.S. Marshals Service Communications Center at 1-800-336-0102 or contact local law enforcement.

Officials emphasize that no piece of information is too small, and public cooperation could be vital to bringing Decker to justice.

As the Wenatchee community mourns the unimaginable loss of three young lives, a growing memorial of flowers, toys, and messages of grief continues to grow outside the family’s home. Grief counselors have been made available to local schools and community centers.
