HENRICO COUNTY, Va. — Police have released new details following a deadly two-vehicle crash in the Fairfield District early Tuesday morning.

On October 1, just after 6:30 a.m., officers responded to the 4600 block of Carolina Avenue for reports of a collision involving a motorcycle and an SUV. Upon arrival, authorities discovered the motorcyclist, identified as 53-year-old Bruce Scott Meade of Henrico, lying in the roadway. Tragically, he was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Following the investigation, police charged Rodriguez with Driving While Intoxicated with Serious Injury (Code 18.2-51.4A).
