OSWEGO, N.Y. — Two people have been arrested and charged in connection with a fatal stabbing that claimed the life of 41-year-old Kevin Fatcheric early Friday morning, October 17, 2025.

According to the Oswego Police Department, officers responded around 3:30 a.m. to a reported stabbing at 71 W. Albany Street in the City of Oswego. Upon arrival, officers found Fatcheric suffering from a stab wound to the chest. He was transported by emergency medical personnel to Upstate Hospital, where, despite life-saving efforts, he was pronounced dead.

Following an on-scene investigation, police arrested Scott Sullivan, 24, of Fulton, and Rebecca Manchester, 44, of Oswego, in connection with the deadly incident.

Sullivan faces charges of Murder in the 2nd Degree (A-I felony), Assault in the 1st Degree (B felony), and two counts of Robbery in the 1st Degree (B felony).

Manchester has been charged with two counts of Murder in the 2nd Degree (A-I felony), two counts of Assault in the 1st Degree (B felony), Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 3rd Degree (D felony), and two counts of Robbery in the 1st Degree (B felony).

Both suspects were processed and arraigned in Oswego County CAP Court.

The Oswego Police Department was assisted by the Oswego County District Attorney’s Office, Oswego County Sheriff’s Office, Menter Ambulance, and the Oswego Fire Department.
